Overview
Cole Mill is one of five public access points to Eno River State Park. This access has nearly six miles of hiking trails. Trail difficulty is generally moderate—in some areas there are prominent tree roots and rocks which can trip up an unwary hiker. Like most of Eno River State Park, Cole Mill can get somewhat crowded, especially on weekends. On busy days Few's Ford may offer more opportunities to hike out and away from the crowds.
Landmarks
Buzzard rock, Coon Foot island, and remnants of old homes, dams, and mills.
